The George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) continues to grow its expertise with the addition of three new GW Health Sciences program directors.
The new members of the SMHS community include Sabrina Figueiredo, PhD, MSc, as co-director of the Health Care Quality Program; Roger Ideishi, JD, OT/L, FAOTA, in the role of program director for the Occupational Therapy Programs, including a soon-to-be established entry-level Occupational Therapy Doctorate program; and Melissa Tice, PhD, as the director of the Regulatory Affairs Program.
Ideishi comes to GW from Temple University, where he served as a director and professor in the occupational therapy program, while Figueiredo left McGill University in Montreal, where she served as assistant director of the physical therapy program. Tice previously served as the vice president of Global Regulatory Affairs at Immunomedics Inc.
